Vendor of the Week: 17/10/17 – B+T Baked Goods

This week’s vendors are the dynamic duo of Tim and Brittany of B+T Baked Goods. You have to try their fresh baked Challah bread or hearty sour dough, and don’t forget to pick up a delicious pecan square!

What is your farm/business name and how did you get it?
B+T Baked Goods (Brittany and Tim and we make baked goods). 🙂


How long have you been doing this?
This is our first season with this business, but 9 years of baking (between the two of us).


What made you decide to start?
We love to bake and being able to be a part of our community and also love being able to provide them with good and local foods.


What is the biggest challenge you face?
A bigger and better baking space to be able to up our production.


What is your favorite thing about the Mill Park market?
The people and community here.

“Tim and Brittany”. 🙂


What is your favorite product that you make and why?
Bread. It is our passion and so beautiful and yummy!


Favorite recipe when you only have 45 minutes to get dinner on the table?
Savory french toast. Use day old challah (or fresh), make french toast (with no vanilla or syrup), spread with pepper jelly or goat cheese and top with pea shoots. Yum!


Favorite way to spend your free time?
Being outdoors.


Funny/interesting/good story about your market experience?
When Autumn and Wendy saw me (Brittany) fall off the crates when I tried to sit and rest.
